Jeju Island, earned the UNESCO triple crown, is a place filled with creative artists and has environment like the clean air, the clear sea, and the beautiful mountains. The children will be able to make happy memories with singing beautiful songs at WYCF in the professional performance hall, Seogwipo Art Center, every year in July.
WYCF is a choral festival in which top level children's choir s from various countries participate and sing 'Peace" with various genres of music ranging from folk music to classical and contemporary music.
The combined choir's chorus, the highlight of the closing concert, is led by the conductor Hee-churl Kim who is the artistic director of WYCF.
The competition, where high quality choirs from all over the world participate, is proceeding with a fair examination by the world-renowned conductor as juries. The theme of the chorus music is to carry out creative and educational activities by workshops. Jeju, the island of full of the scent of art and the best natural museum in the Orient, will offer a 'joy of singing in nature'.

청소년합창축제는 다양한 국가의 정상급 어린이합창단이 참가하여 각 국의 민속음악에서 클래식, 현대음악에 이르는 다양한 장르의 음악으로 평화를 노래하는 합창 축제입니다. 폐막연주의 하이라이트인 연합합창은 예술총감독인 김희철 지휘자의 지휘로 참가자와 관객 모두가 하나되어 노래 하는 경험을 할 수 있습니다. 또한 국내외 수준 높은 합창단들이 참가하는 경연대회는 세계 저명한 지휘자와 합창인을 심사위원으로 위촉하여 공정한 심사로 진행되고 있습니다. 합창에 관한 주제로 아이들의 수준에 맞는 워크샵을 진행하여 창의적이고 교육적인 활동을 진행하고 있습니다.
