Young Jo Lee, 이영조
Young Jo Lee studied at Yonsei University in Seoul and the Hochschule fur Musik und Theater in Munich (1975) under Carl Orff and Wilhelm Killmayer. He then studied at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago (1986) where he completed his D.M.A. and subsequently he taught as a professor. In 1994, he returned to South Korea where he became a professor and the Dean of the Korean National University of Arts.
Currently, he is also the Chairman of both the Korean Branch of the Beethoven Jubilee GmbH (BTHVN), Germany and the Board of Korean Art Education Organization Ministry of Culture, Sight Seeing and Sports Republic of Korea.
Young Jo Lee studied composition of western music however he wants to free himself from the pressures of both western style conventions and Korean tradition and to blaze new trails. In the background of Young Jo Lee’s compositions, there is always the thought of how Korean music can find its place amongst world music.
With this idea in mind, he established a new musical language. As a result, he has been honored several times for his commitment to Korean music.
His specialty is the symbiosis of the powerful logic found in German music and Korean emotionality. His chamber, choral and orchestral music is already known outside South Korea. his opera Hwang-Jinie, in particular, has been performed in Peking (2000), Tokyo (2001), Los Angeles (2003), Moscow (2003), Hanoi (2004), Gwangju (2007) and Torre del Lago (2014) following its premiere in Seoul in 1999. He was invited to Contemporary Music Festivals in Moscow, Maastricht and Univ. of Wisconsin as the “Composer in Residence”.

Imant Raminsh, 이맨트 라민쉬
Imant Raminsh was born in 1 943 in Ventspils, Latvia, and arrived in Canada with his family in 1948. His musical studies were pursued at the Royal Conservatory in Toronto, the
University of Toronto, the Akademie “Mozarteum" in Salzburg, and the University ,of British Columbia.
He has written in most musical genres, including soIo voice, Chamber music, Choral, Symphonic, Concerto, and opera. His works have been performed frequently on six continents in such renowned venues as Roy Thomson Hall (Toronto), the Orpheum (Vancouver), Carnegie Hall (New York), Tchaikovsky Hall (Moscow), Glinka Capella (St. Petersburg), Dom Cathedral (Riga), and the Forbidden City (Beijing).
He is the founding conductor of the Prince George Symphony, the Youth Symphony of the Okanagan, NOVA Children’s Choir, and AURA Chamber Choir. His Carnegie Hall conducting debut took place in 2006. He has served on the juries of international choral competition in Yeosu and Busan in Korea.
He has received numerous awards including the Outstanding Choral Composition Award from the Association of Canadian Choral Communities and the Distingguished Visiting Alumnus Awards (University of Toronto). In 2007 he was made an Officer in the Order of the Three Stars of the Republic of Latvia.
He is an associate member of the Canadian Music Centre and the Canadian League of Composers. His principal publishers are Boosey & Hawkes, Colla Voce Music, Alliance Music, Alfred Music, Walton Music, and Plangere.
For many summers, he was empIoyed as a seasonal park naturalist/interpreter in various BC provincial parks, and his Iove of the natural world informs many of his compositions.
Imant is married to poet and frequent artistic collaborator, Becky Strube, and they have one lovely, bright, talented daughter, Lisa Alexandra Soleil.

T.J.Harper, 티제이 하퍼
Dr. T. J. Harper is the Chair of the ACDA International Activities Committee, Director of the ACDA International Conductors Exchange Program, and Associate Professor of Music at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California.
T. J. Harper is the Chair of the Providence College Department of Music, Associate Professor of Music, and Director of Choral Activities at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island. He is the 2015 Professor of the Year and recipient of the Joseph R. Accinno Teaching Award. Dr. Harper maintains an active schedule in the US and abroad as a guest conductor, clinician, and jury member. Recent engagements include residencies, guest conducting, lectures and master classes in China, Argentina, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Venezuela and honor choirs throughout the US. Dr. Harper is a Board Member for the International Federation of Choral Music (IFCM), the Chair of the ACDA Standing Committee on International Activities and the Director of the ACDA International Conductors Exchange Program (ICEP). Dr. Harper’s research interests have led to funded research projects exploring voice-science in the choral rehearsal; the music of Johannes Brahms at the Brahms Institute in Lübeck, Germany and the Musikverein in Vienna, Austria; the music of Maurice Duruflé at St. Peter’s Abbey in Solesmes, France; and the folk music traditions of the Korean Peninsula at Dankook University in Seoul, South Korea. His publications have appeared in the ACDA Choral Journal, the IFCM International Choral Bulletin, the NAfME Online Choral Forum, and the RIMEA Music Education Journal-RIMER. Dr. Harper received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Southern California where he graduated with honors. He received the Master of Arts in Choral Conducting from California State University, Northridge and the Bachelor of Arts degree and Choral Conducting from California State University, Fresno. He taught in the California public school system for six years and was honored for excellence in teaching in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. Dr. Harper is an advocate for the promotion of undergraduate and graduate music education and choral music in the public schools.
T. J. Harper 박사는 ACDA 국제 활동위원회 위원장이며, ACDA 국제 지휘자 교환 프로그램 (ACDA International Conductors Exchange Program) 캘리포니아 주 로스 앤젤레스에 소재한 Loyola Marymount University의 부교수로 재직 중이다. 2015년 올해의 교수상을 수상하기도 한 그는 미국 로드아일랜드 에 위치한 Providence 음대의 학과장으로 있으며 합창지휘를 가르 치고 있다. 전 미국에 걸쳐 국제 음악교육협회 동부지회 컨퍼런스 와 미국합창지휘연합회 컨퍼런스 및 로드아일랜드 교육협회 컨퍼 런스 등 다양한 곳에서 연주활동을 하고 있으며, 호주, 체코, 스페 인 및 이태리 등 해외 여러 곳에서도 연주 하고있다. 미국과 전 세계 에서 지휘자, 강사, 심사위원 등 다양하게 활동하고 있으며 최근에 는 중국과 아르헨티나, 스웨덴, 이태리, 스페인, 한국, 등 그 외 여러 나라에서 그의 영역을 넓혀나가고 있다. 그는 국제합창연합회의 이 사로 있으면서 미국합창연합회의 국제교류담당으로 있으며 International Conductors Exchange Program을 맡아 진행하고 있다. 합창리허설에서 과학적인 성악법을 연구하여 발표하였고, 독일과 오스트리아 비엔나에서 브람스의 음악을 연구, 발표하기도 하였다. 그뿐 아니라 듀프레의 음악을 연구하여 프랑스에서 발표하였고 한 국의 전통음악을 연구하여 단국대학교에서 발표하는 등 왕성히 활 동하고 있으며 그의 논문은 ACDA 합창저널, IFCM 합창지 등 다양 한 곳에서 출판하였다. 미국 남서부대학 (USC)에서 박사를 취득한 그는 노스리지에 위치한 CSU (California State University)에서 합 창지휘로 석사를, 또한 프레스코에 위치한 CSU에서 역시 합창지 휘로 학사를 취득하였다. 캘리포니아 공립학교에서 6년 동안 가르 치며 뛰어난 교수로 상을 받기도 한 그는 국공립대학과 대학원에 서 합창교육을 주장하는 등 합창의 보급화를 위해 노력하고 있다.
Shin Hwa Park, 박신화
Dr. Shin-Hwa Park is the director of the Ansan City Choir, Professor of Music at Ewha Womans University, Director of the Ewha Chamber Choir, broadcasting host of FEBC FM and member of World Choir Council.
Dr. Park received his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in church music and vocal music from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. He received his D.M.A. in Choral Literature and Conducting from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Dr. Park is one of the most invited choral conductors and clinicians in Korea. He has served as guest conductor of the National Choir, Seoul City Choir, Busan City Choir, Daejeon City Choir, Suwon City Choir, and many more. He also gives more than 30 lectures every year.
Dr. Park is the first winner of the Ulrim Grand Prize in 2004, and received the Ansan Art Prize the same year. The following year, he was recognized as one of the best professors at Ewha Womans University, and in 2007 he was awarded the Korean Music Prize.
He has often been invited to judge for choral competitions at home and abroad, most recently World Choir Games in South Africa, Manado Singing 2018 in Indonesia and Tolosa International Competition in Spain.
He and his choir also performed in a number of different countries. Recently, Ansan City Choir performed at the 11th World Symposium on Choral Music held in Barcelona, Spain. It is also going to perform at the ACDA National Conference in Kansas City, Missouri in upcoming March.
지휘자 박신화는 연세대학교와 동대학원을 졸업하고 미국으로 유학, 6년간의 수학 끝에 합창지휘와 문헌으로 박사학위를 취득하였다. 귀국 후 박신화는 1995년 4월에 창단된 안산시립합창단의 상임지휘자로 지금까지 24년간 활동하고 있다. 또한 2001년 이화여대 교수로 임용을 받아 후학을 양성하고 있으며, 이화챔버콰이어의 지휘자로도 활동 중에 있다. 2006년부터 극동방송 성가산책 프로를 지금까지 담당하고 있으며, 한국합창지휘자협회와 한국합창총연합회 이사장을 역임하였다. 연 40여회의 합창세미나에서 강의도 담당하고 있는 그는 월드 콰이어게임, 스페인 톨로사 국제합창대회, KBS 하모니 등 국내외 합창콩쿠르 심사위원으로도 활발하게 활동하고 있다. 그가 지휘하는 안산시립합창단은 2002, 2014, 2017년 세계합창심포지움, 2015년 미국합창연합회 ACDA National Conference에서 연주하였다. 또한 그는 국립, 서울시, 부산, 대전, 광주, 수원, 성남, 원주, 춘천, 익산, 청주, 제주 시립합창단 등 전국의 유명 합창단을 객원지휘 하였다. 그는 2004년 제1회 울림예술대상을 수상하였으며, 같은 해 안산문화상을 수상하였다. 그 이듬해, 이화여대 우수 강의교수로 선정되었고, 2007년에는 한국음악상(본상)을 수상하였다. 또한 서울 예술의전당주최 예술대상에서 수천개의 공연가운데 성악, 합창부문에서 최우수상을 받는 쾌거를 누렸다. 그의 합창단은 2019 미국합창연합회 ACDA National Conference에 초청되어 연주할 계획이다.

Jae Joon Lee, 이재준
-Maestro, Jae-joon Lee obtained his Master of Music from Keimyung University majoring in instrumental music and master's degree in choral conducting at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He also received graduate of a master’s degree of Orchestral and Opera Conducting in Novosibirsk National Music Conservatory, Russia. He has received wide publicity not only by conducting symphony orchestras and opera internationally but also chorus and opera in his home country of Korea.
Maestro Lee has been invited as a guest conductor of many orchestras and opera companies at national level both in Korea and internationally companies since 1988. He has conducted numerous operas including La Boheme, La Traviata, Carmen, Aida and Rigoletto. Moreover, he has also conducted extensive symphonic works by Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Brahms and Mahler etc.
In February 2000 when he returned to live in Korea, Maestro Lee founded The Gala Orchestra, which has received high praise from audience and media alike at each of its concerts for the last 10 years. In 2003, he invited as a visiting professor at Cuba National Institute of Arts (ISA de Cuba) and International Music Director of the Cuban National Opera Company, visiting Cuba every January to give lectures and masterclasses on conducting technique and to perform with the orchestra and opera company. In 2005 Maestro Lee received special praise after conducting the Matanza Philharmonic Orchestra with the National Opera Company of Cuba in opera “Carmen”. Also in 2005 he was invited to be International Music Director for the final concert of the 22nd International Theater Festival in Havana, where he conducted Johann Strauss’s "Die Fledermaus.” In 2006 he was invited by the Tongyeong International Music Festival to conduct Mozart’s “Requiem" in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of Mozart's Birth. In January 2008, He conducted opera “the Bat” produced by the CCP-UST at CCP Hall in Manila.
In March 2008, He was invited principal guest conductor of Novosibirsk Academic Symphony Orchestra (NASO) which is one of major Russian National Orchestra.
In January 2009, He invited as guest conductor for the Asia – premier concert of Jenkins’s requiem with the UST symphony orchestra & UST singers at CCP hall in Manila. He also conducted as guest conductor for concert serious of Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra’s 2009 and 2011 season. In February 2012, He conducted opera “La Traviata” at CCP in Manila. Consecutively, In October 2014 & 2015, He conducted Opera “ Rigoletto” & Tosca at CCP in Manila. Since September 2005 Maestro Lee has been the conductor of the Deagu Genius Youth Orchestra (DGYO), one of the highest quality youth orchestras in the world. In February 2008, the DGYO traveled to Spain giving concerts in Madrid, Granada, Valencia and Barcelona and February 2010 and also had a concert tour in the U.S.A.
Currently, Maestro Lee was founded Pilgrim Music Foundation (PMF) in Jeju island. PMF will be parent foundation of Jeju International Genius Music Academy (JIGMA) which is one of best music school for musically gifted student in the world. And also, Maestro Lee is Artistic Director of Novo Philharmonic Orchestra, Artistic Director of Pilgrim Mission Music Center, Yeanoeul Music Center, Visiting Professor of Santo Tomas Music Conservatory in Manila, Philippines, and he is Permanent Artistic Director of International Youth Orchestra Study Group (IYOSG) starting July 2011 at Philadelphia, USA.
마에스트로 이재준은 계명대학교와 계명대학원에서 기악을 전공한후 도미하여 미국 USC(남가주대학)음대에서 합창지휘 석사과정을 마치고, 러시아 글린카 국립음악원(노보시브르스크)에서 오케스트라와 오페라 지휘 최고 연주자과정을 마쳤다.
국내 지휘자중 드물게 합창과 오페라, 오케스트라를 지휘하는 그는, 2000년 2월 한국으로 돌아오면서 창단한 갈라(Gala)오케스트라와 함께 10년동안 매 연주회때마다 수준높은 앙상블로 청중들에게 큰 찬사를 받았으며, 2002년부터 쿠바 국립예술대학(ISA de Cuba) 오케스트라 및 오페라 지휘초빙교수 및 국립 오페라단 국제 음악감독(International Music director)을 맡아 매년 1월마다 하바나 국립예술대학 지휘법 강의와 오케스트라 및 오페라 지휘를 하였다. 2005년 1월에는 마탕사스(Matanza) 필하모니 오케스트라를 지휘하고, 쿠바 국립 오페라단(Natinal opera Company of Cuba)을 이끌고 오페라 “카르멘”을 지휘하였으며, 9월에는 제 22회 , 하바나 세계 연극 페스티벌(22th International Theater Festival in Havana)의 국제음악감독직을 맡아, 폐막 공연(Final Concert)으로 오페라 “박쥐”(the Bat)를 지휘하여 찬사를 받았다. 2006년 3월에는 모차르트 탄생 250주년을 기념하여 통영국제 음악제에 초청되어 “모차르트 레퀴엠”을 지휘하여 큰 찬사를 받았다. 2006년부터는 아시아에서는 최초로 세워진 필리핀의 명문대학인 상토 토마스대학(UST)의 오케스트라 지휘 초빙교수로 초청받아 2009년 2월 영국의 작곡가 젠킨스(Jenkins)의 레퀴엠을 아시아 초연을 UST오케스트라와 합창단을 마닐라 CCP메인홀에서 지휘 하였고, 2009년 11월에는 필리핀 국립 교향악단(PPO)을 지휘하여 큰 찬사를 받았다. 또한 2011년 11월에는 PPO를 다시 지휘하게 된다. 2011년부터 2014년까지 매년 PPO와 함께 오페라 박쥐,라트라비아타,리골레토,토스카를 지휘했으며, 2007년에는 러시아 노보시브르스크 국립 교항약단(NASO)수석 객원지휘자로 초빙됨과 동시에 모교인 글린카 국립음악원 대학 오케스트라 수석 객원지휘자로 초빙받았으며, 2005년부터 2011년 초까지 국내에서 최초로 세워진 대구 영재예술교육원의 음악감독을 맡아 오케스트라 지휘를 통해 음악영재 교육에 힘써왔다.2010~2012까지 대구문화재단 왈츠오케스트라 예술감독 및 상임지휘자로 활동하였으며, 2010년부터는 미국 필라델피아에서 조직된 세계 청소년 오케스트라 스타디 그룹(IYOSG) 페스티벌에 종신 예술감독으로 초빙되었다.
현재, 노보 필하모닉 오케스트라 예술감독 및 필그림 미션 뮤직센터와 얘노을 뮤직센터의 예술감독으로 활동중이며,필리핀 상토토마스 대학 지휘 초빙교수 및 세계 청소년 오케스트라(IYOSG /필라델피아, 미국) 종신 예술감독 활동하고 있다.
