Pilgrim Children’s Choir was founded in October in 2001 as part of Pilgrim Mission Music Center composed of Christian

Teenagers (age 10-17). Under the Slogan of “Best Praise to God” Pilgrim Children’s Choir aims at performing missionary in 2005 Pilgrim Children’s Choir organized to perform in five European countries(Netherland, Belgium, Luxemburg, France and Germany). The choir was invited to perform at Australia’s Sydney Opera House in 2008 and various places in Los Angeles including L.A Convention Center in 2010. in June 2013, the choir won the first prize of Children & Youth category at the 2013 Yeosu International Choir Competition. They also won the Grand prize of elementary, middle and high school category at the 16th National Environment Choir Competition at the same year. in 2014, the choir won the grand prize at the 1st Daegu Choir Competition in Children & Youth category. In addition, in 2015, Pilgrim Children’s Choir participated in the 50th International Choir Festival held in Międzyzdroje, Poland as the only Asian choir among 17 European countries including Sweden, Poland, Germany, etc. and won Gold medal, Poland chorus Association trophy and the Grand Prize of the whole competition. In May of 2017, Pilgrim Children’s Choir became Korea’s top children’s choir by winning the Grand Prize of the 1st National Children’s Choir Competition hosted by the National Choir.

In August of 2018, in the 12th Cantemus International Choral Festival and Competition held in Nyíregyháza, Hungary, They were selected as the best choir in four categories with the gold medal in the competition, in addition The Korean children's choir stood amazed of the 15 countries participating in this Choral Festival, and the Cantemus Society of Hungary.

Like this, Pilgrim Children’s Choir is aiming to travel the world to give great vision to Christian youth by praising God with music.

필그림소년소녀합창단은 2001년 10월에 창단하여 필그림미션뮤직센터 산하 초교파 크리스천(10세~17세) 청소년으로 구성되어 활동하고 있습니다. 필그림소년소녀합창단은 “최고의 찬양을 하나님께”라는 슬로건으로 찬양을 통한 선교 활동을 목표로 하고 있으며, 2005년부터 유럽 5개국(네덜란드, 벨기에, 룩셈부르크, 프랑스, 독일) 초청공연, 2008년 호주 시드니 오페라 하우스 초청공연, 2010년 미국 L. A 컨벤션 센터 및 L. A 전역에서 순회공연을 하였습니다.

2013년 6월 여수에서 열린 세계합창경연대회에서 어린이&청소년 부문으로 대상을 수상을 시작으로 같은 해 제16회 전국환경노래부르기 합창경연대회에서 초, 중, 고 통합부문 대상을 수상하였고 이듬해 2014년에는 제 1회 대구합창경연대회에서 학생부문 대상을 수상하였습니다.

그리고 2015년에는 폴란드 미엥지즈드로예에서 개최되는 50주년 국제합창페스티벌 내 국제합창대회에 스웨덴, 폴란드, 독일 등 17개 유럽 합창단이 참가한 가운데 유일한 아시아 합창단으로 참가하여 금메달과 폴란드 합창 협회장 트로피 그리고 전체 대회 그랑프리를 수상하였습니다. 2016년 1월에는 제주도에서 개최된 국제합창페스티벌과 합창심포지엄에 초청되는 한국의 많은 지휘자들에게 감동의 시간을 선사하는 등 활발한 연주활동을 하고 있습니다. 2017년 5월에는 국립합창단에 주최한 제1회 전국소년소녀합창 경연대회에서 대상을 차치하면서 전국 최고의 소년소녀합창단으로 우뚝 서게 되었습니다. 그리고 2018년 8월 헝가리 니레지하저에서 열린 제12회 칸테무스 세계합창페스티벌과 경연대회에서 금메달과 함께 4개 부문에서 최우수 합창단으로 뽑혀 5관왕을 거머쥐면서 한국어린이합창단의 위상을 이 합창제에 참가한 15개의 나라와 헝가리 칸테무스 소사이어티를 깜짝 놀라게 하였습니다.

이처럼 필그림소년소녀합창단은 찬양을 통해 세계를 순회하며 크리스천 청소년들에게 큰 비전을 품게 하는 데에 목표를 두고 활동하고 있습니다.
